Summer Spa
Many friends from around the world have come to visit our spa this summer. We consider it a five-star resort, offering state-of-the-art bathing facilities. The waters in our bird bath gently ripple from the solar-powered water wiggler we placed in the middle. Sometimes the guests get a bit rowdy, but I’m happy they are enjoying themselves!
Catbirds have flown in from Central America. They stay at our resort all summer. Perhaps the flowers remind them of their winter home down south.
We offer fresh fruit here at the spa. Our menu is so inviting that Baltimore Orioles have raised their young here.
They teach their babies to come to the feeder.
Now, in September, the height of the spa season is over. Some of our visitors have moved on. But others can’t seem to leave. Hummingbirds keep searching for sweet nectar in our flowers.
Some pose for one last photograph.
As the nights get nippy, they will soon say goodbye.
I hope all our friends will give us good reviews and plan to visit us again next year. We’ll be waiting!
Little do they know how much I enjoy them.
Thank you, Lord, for the beautiful summer you have given us!
